- Gabriela Anton is a Partner of Vilau & Mitel. She graduated in 2000 the University of Bucharest-Faculty of Law and University of Paris I Pantheon Sorbonne – College of Law for European Studies and was admitted to the Bucharest Bar in 2001. Her practice focuses primarily on banking & finance, including real estate financing, mergers and acquisitions and competition and has worked for major corporations and financial institutions over the past nine years. Gabriela has published various articles on business law and participated in training courses in Europe, as well as in various conferences on banking and finance, competition and securities law.
- Recent significant client representations include: the merger of two major Romanian banks, with total assets worth approx. 600 million EUR; admission of major real estate company to AIM, market operated by London Stock Exchange; multi-million EUR project finance transaction for hotel construction and development in Bucharest, the clearance with the Competition Council of private equity projects in various fields, such as consumer finance, real estate financing, as well as the clearance of an international acquisition transaction which involved in Romania several banks, leasing companies, financial investments services company, insurance broker, asset management company and other financial services companies.
