• Carmen Banateanu is a Senior Associate.
• Carmen graduated the Faculty of Law within the Spiru Haret University in 2000 and obtained a LL.M. degree in Banking Law with “Titu Maiorescu” University. She also completed the WIPO Worldwide Academy DL-101 General Course on Intellectual Property - Trademarks, Industrial Designs, and Geographical Indications.
• Her practice focuses primarily on banking & finance, corporate & commercial and mergers & acquisitions.
• As senior in-house legal counsel, Carmen conducted the legal team involved in the acquisition of one of the largest private company on the Romanian market and was involved over the years in project finance deals, syndicated lending, co-financing and refinancing projects, cross border transactions and restructuring mandates. Most recently, Carmen coordinated a mandate on restructuring and debt recovery in relation to a bank`s non-performing portfolio.
