- Vilau & Mitel has proudly sponsored the ARDD IDLO Alumni Seminar on Practical Aspects of Intellectual Property in Pharmaceutical Industry
- On October 12 - 13, 2007, ARDD IDLO Alumni hosted a seminar at the Ramada Majestic Hotel in Bucharest. It was the 6th edition of the seminar which is part of the National Program on Intellectual Property organized by ARDD-IDLO Alumni.
- The seminar reunited some of the finest professionals including prosecuting attorneys, judges, IP lawyers, patent and trademark attorneys and representatives of companies active in the pharmaceutical industry.
- The subjects discussed ranged from specific aspects concerning patent protection and avoidance of the infringement of the rights in Romania to legal grounds of the registration of pharmaceutical trademarks, administrative procedures (appeals and revocation of patents in accordance with the provisions of the Romanian law), technology transfer in the pharmaceutical industry, pharmaceutical trademarks and trademark protection in the light of the EU Directive.
